Air Bag Wire Tracing

I have a security torx set but wont mess about with the wheel just yet, I found the relevant bit in the excellent workshop manual, I will take out the center console tomorrow and check all the connections on the module.

If your going near the steering wheel i'd disconnect the battery first & wait 1/2 for the SRS to discharge then there won't be a risk of the air bag going off

first time i've seen you vid Rick, never set off an air bag luckily but have set off a few seat belt pre tensioners in my time:augie took car seat out & put it down on the steel bench at work next second such a bang as it went off on it's own nearly had to change my pants:lol

We fit a Kevlar cover over the steering wheel, when a vehicle has been involved in smash and the SRS has not deployed.
