air bag light

i have a 3.0 patrol and the air bag light has just started flashing for some reason can any body tell me why

Hello Tubbs old man,
Try pressing the driver’s door switch at least 5 times within 7 seconds after turning the ignition ‘‘ON’’.
Count the long and short flash sequence of the light if any and report back.

no jez still keeps flashing just on and off like an indicator

Looks like it’s a trip to the dealers and get the diagnostic machine on it.

The only thing I can think of is to see if the connections are tight into the fuse box & under the seats for the pre tensioners

I think that if there is a problem with the seatbelt tensioners the seatbelt light will flash not the air bag light. Could be wrong wouldn’t be the first time :lol:

First Just try disconnecting the battery for 20 mins to re-set the Ecu
