Hi guys and a happy new year to all.
For some time I have been having an intermittent problem with my TPS sensor...I get the mil light coming on and loss of power...pulled the code and it gives me the TPS fault code. The thing is that if I sit for a few mins it clears itself...but I simply can't have it happen when towing my van.I have tried spraying the sensor with electrical contact cleaner...but I am not convinced it is actually able to get in to the sensor housing....so basically I am asking if anyone has a pedal/sensor unit for sale...its the two plug version...my truck is a 1998 twin head light variety...I am aware that there is a one plug connection type but this would not be of any use to me.
If anyone has one I would be very grateful.....thanks fellas
