Hi - please don't think this is a stupid question but is there a 'right' or 'easy' way to get a front abs sensor bolt out (RHS)? My 19year old Terrano has really only done road miles but the bolt seems solid in the hub and I'm concerned about snapping the head off.

If the head does snap off, what can be done as I assume it cannot be drilled out easily if at all.

If I do manage to get the bolt out, how easy are the sensors to pull out - fingers or pliers.

Any advice would be most welcome!

Hi the bolt holding it in is not the problem, if it shears off do not worry about it, it is the sensor that is a problem getting it out, better to check the wires first as they are normally the culprit, Rick

Welcome mate, as Rick has pointed out, these are near impossible to remove and more than likely the wire that is the culprint 99% of the time.

If you can't fix the wire the best thing to do it replace the whole hub assembly for one with a good sensor.

I have plenty in stock and luckily for you I'm also in the west midlands
