We don't do thing by half around here, do we?
Great stuff. :D :thumb2

Yep, with all the movement get the gas checked, go careful on adding 230v sockets. The van is only on an extension lead. 16amps max useage. Your lv cable will get warm

12v that's much better, but no 230v the leisure battery will soon go flat. Look into led lights for inside

Thanks for all the replies guys :thumb2

Most of the interior is out now, apart from the rear high cupboards which without removing the roof I have no idea how they were installed so they are staying put in fear of causing damage

I got the sander out and the units come up lovely, everything that has been removed will be sanded down to that and then painted but I've not decided on a colour yet

I have however decided that I wasn't happy with the Denim Drift colour that I'd picked for the walls so in the end stuck with my gut and went back and got the Urban Obsession Grey that I wanted initially and now not sure on that

My brother summed it up as looking like an air raid shelter now :( Hope it looks better when the new curtains and cushions are in etc, was fresh off the roller here so still wet in places, been out this morning and peered my bleary eyes through the window and it seems to have dried nice, I'll be doing the second coat soon

Sand all wood and just seal it so it stays pale, use pastel colours for paint and then something darker for upholstery and curtains, like I medium plum colour, not battleship grey :D

Lawrence llewelen Dougy out :D

I'm sure I'll suss the colour theme out and it will look beautiful!!!!

I'm waiting for Pete to arrive shortly and reply with his famous words

Interior is gay :camping:

He'd strip it back to a bare shell, fit some 35's and just lie on the hard floor like a man!!

Urban obsession grey?

Did it come in a tin with an upwards pointing arrow and "WD" underneath it?

I've seen frigates painted that colour.

You laugh now but it's a nice base colour and I reckon with the right coloured cupboards, cushions and curtains it's going to look good, fingers crossed

I'm kind of leaning to a Grey/Lime Green interior

ROFL....it's called 'Dove grey', and there is a lot of stuff of many descriptions in that colour around Plymouth...:thumbs

If you paint the interior of a small space like your caravan in those colours, the only thing you'll be leaning towards will be a bucket.

:augie

I know it sounds harsh but I do a lot of painting and decorating. Those are two colours I wouldn't recommend in a small space.

Light ceiling and walls, get your colour from the cushions and curtains.

Have at it bloke, your choice in the end.

The misses said the same thing, dark colours in small spaces

I'm going to stick with it now though and hope for the best, gotta be worth more than £0 when I'm finished no matter what, and dark colours don't show the dirt, or the smoke damage :splif

After a smoke, who the hell cares :splif
As long as the fridge is full:lol
