Get a friend with an all vehicle recovery policy to come round and get you towed in.

No problem with your decision. The gift was not contingent on you going postal on the scum who ripped you off. It was so you had the option NOT to :D

i borrowed our lasses disco ( am i forgiven ? ) and i popped into the garage to " enquire " , they said they really didnt want to drop the props while it was raining so heavily , but if its not too bad tomorrow , they plan to tow it slowly without dropping the props ( is that safe ? )

hi briggie about the git who sold you the car best not to think about the ass hole any more and get on with getting your truck on the road:thumbs:thumbs think i may buy the next car he has on ebay tho,,, :sly and take him and it for a a little drive:D if i was closer would have done that for you already........ any way i would not recomend towing a auto with out taking the prop off may cause a lot of damage:eek: dont they have a tow truck which they can put it on the back off or even a trailer to put it on? most garages do i thought!!!!! hope its no back street garage running from a garden shed:eek:?

am i the only one with these things on the wing ? lol

the mirror on your wing so so that you can do your hair:lol and because it is more than likely a import! no mirrors on wings on a uk car ! from the factory!!!

no , its quite a small garage who specialise in 4x4 mods for off roading , and general servicing , they do not have a tow truck , but they have kindly offered to drain the gearbox , clean the filter , refill , check levels when cold , check when hot , adjust , and road test all for £30 so i cant cant complain , at least it will let us know if the problem can be easily sorted .

kind regards

pete

that cheap enough for the garage to do that for 30 pound:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2 still would not tow befor taking the prop off tho!!!

he did say if they did that , that they would have to tow it slowly .... around 15-20 mph , its about 2 and a half miles from here to the garage , will that be ok ?

oh , another thing , they said the thing they will tow it with is a rigid bar .
