80's in car phone system ?

I appear to have a complete in car phone kit circa 1980s
Old analogue vodafone / cellnet type.
Can any bright sparks out there figure out a way of linking this digitally to the current networks?
Reason being I want to put it in an old 80s rep mobile project and have it working :nenau

You will be better off trying to find a old car phone thats digital and works with the current networks.

Wouldn't surprise me if china make a fake old style car phone that accepts new sim cards
