Sucks tbh :(

Not thrashing it either

1.44 per litre is pretty horrendous

As Zippy says Veg oil at £1/ Litre, while its still relativley warm weather. Got to blende in winter, even rape thickens up.David.

Defo summut wrong there mate.Mine's got loads of engine mods in thego faster dept and I still get 25 and never seems less than that tbh :thumbs

Bio is best but finding a reliable supply at a good price for less than 1000litres is difficult.

Seems to be getting worse now too. You'd think in hard times more people would be making it
I blame the govt. they've made veggy oil suppliers charge for non return of waste oil :doh

Problem is, unless you're doing tank-brimmed to tank-brimmed, you're never truly sure how much fuel you are using. Sloshing in £20 and estimating when you've used up that £20's worth will always leave it as a guessing game. You might well actually be doing 25mpg.

My truck done 200 miles today on half a tank!:D. Seems to like welsh diesel:lol

It's easy to do 200 miles on the first half the tank  Now try it on the other half of the tank :lol

well said, unless you have a meter in the fuel line, brim to brim is the most accurate way, Rick

Game on:sly but if I don't turn up for the off roading; I'll be in wales somewhere with a very empt tank:lol:lol

On a recent journey of 200 miles starting with a tank filled to the brim, towing a 1500kg Caravan + Plus Roof box and pasengers and all the other stuff you carry on holiday using 'A' roads/dual carriage way (the A30 in fact) I had to refill to the brim with £65.00 worth of fuel; therefore...

£65.00 of Fuel to refill to brim @ £1.42 per litre = 45.77 litres of fuel (say 46 litres).

200 miles divided by 46 litres = 4.3 miles per litre.

4.3 miles per litre X 4.54 (1 imperial gallon) = average 19.52 miles per gallon.

If the OP is only getting 20 miles to the gallon solo, then it is a bit thirsty.

Regards

Alan

PS please correct me if my math is wrong!
