I'm looking for another starting battery for my truck as mine is giving up the ghost, I've had mine on the workbench on charge and even when it says it's full I put it on the truck and disconnected the glow plugs and from a cold start anymore than 5 revolutions and the battery dies and I need a jump start

That Yuasa you've ordered there looks very very snug, how are you getting on with yours and does the battery foul anywhere at all? I'm aware that even with my current Lucas Marine battery I only have mm to play with on the right of the battery before it fouls on the power steering pulley and the overflow pipe from the radiator.

Let me know as I need to get one ordered this week :doh

Battery seems great Banshee starts on the button straight away. To be honest I think it gets a hard life at the moment as my wife is driving it, does lots of short trips with pretty much anything electrical turned on including the heated seats. So I’d say it’s pretty good :thumbs
As you saw it’s snug and touching the radiator hose but no sign of damage to either. I had to move the earth cable but it’s only a bolt and drill a hole.
