Finally got round to finishing my rear lift today.
Had the springs on a while but had to wait until funds would allow me to get the shocks.
I went for 3+pro comp es3000 from jimny bits.

Feels a lot better on the rear end now just need to test the flex.

Top job buddy :thumbs

Your truck looks very tidy underneath

Have you moved your diff breather? I cant seem to see it

Very clean & shiny underneath:D what blue paint did you use on the link rod ? thinking of painting up my rear axle & the rest of the suspension as I like a bit of bling:augie

Bling,it will be side steps next Lol.

Diff breather still there but I had to undo it from the chassis to give it a bit more play.also bent the bracket over so the brake ferrule on the diff sits higher up to give the flexi a couple more inches.

Hammerite all round on the diff, panard rod and brake back plates.

looking awesome bud.i need to spend a good few sessions under my babys rear end articulation bits too:D

I always give the under carridge a good going over at least once a year:naughty

That's really nice and damn tidy! And lifting the front 3" was ok on old torsion bar?

Only lifted by 2" on the front.
The full 3" kit uses ball joint spacers but heard bad things happen to the c v joints when using them.

springs where from milners and shocks where from jimny bits.

you can get the full kit from both places but it all depends on how deep your pockets are.
when I bought my springs from milners they didn't do a 3+shocker,thats why I had to source from different places.
now they do the kit but the shockers look pants.

so when you lifted the rear to 3" yeah i see that bit looks straight forward but ith lifting the front is it something to do with the torsion bars? i take it you would need lifted shocks too?

Just wind up the torsion bars.
Front shocks won't need to be any longer than stock as there's no where for IFS to go.
I still reckon that at 3" lift the front end will destroy itself pretty quick :(

For daily drivers I never got why people want lift them so much. Won't make much difference unless bigger tyres. Which then f*ck every component faster.

I did it once, Seen the light. Do it properly not on the cheap.
