a few more pics of the lift in progress
removed all body mountings and lifted one side at a time.
I put the trolley jack under the sill with a 2' long timber to spread the weight.
first block in place
shiney new nuts and bolts
all blocks and nuts and bolts fitted.just the bumpers left.
front was straight forward enough I just made a bracket with 50mm hole centres and bolted it on.
back one was a bit more involved.i cut the mount off and re welded it back on 50mm lower to lift up the bumper.
tacked it on first and did a trial fit.fit ok so I welded it up.
I put a little infil just to give it a bit more strength.
next a bit of cleaning and undersealing around the back end before I re fitted the bumper.also painted the brackets on the bumper where they had been re welded.
bumper back on
job done:thumbs
a big thanks to steve for coming over and helping me out :thumb2
