spacers in place on back end but not bolted yet because the problem of the captive 1.25 pitch bolt needed to be solved, so i solved it with mr grinder :D

then removed the captive nut and replaced with new

so where does 2.6" come from, 3" not viable?

have to be a bore and ask what does insurer
think or charge for the pleasure?

insurance not bothered, and its 2.6" cos thats the size of the spacers i could get for as little as possible lol all in its cost me about £30

4 low goes in but its a struggle to get it there but that will soon be fixed, got the spacers off ebay

not bad, but will it make a differance when 4x4ing:confused:

not really at the moment the lift is so i can fit bigger tyres on then it will improve ground clearance, but it has moved the sills up out the way

lengthened?

Cool, so what you doing with lever, welding a bit on or getting sommit to screw on ?

Got a link for spacers ?

Did you reweld in the bit of chassis you cut out to get rid of rear captivated nuts ?

cheers

i think it needs bending forward a touch as it has ran out of room to travel or just need to cut out a bit of the trim at the back of the lever so it has extra room for travel

it wasn't in the chassis it was in the last bit of the body just below the boot door and was a breeze just to put a quick seam weld on it, sorry no link for spacers they were a one off job lot that was left over from a building job

well had a measure today and to the top of the roof rack from the floor its 6ft 8.3" and from floor to top og wheel arches is 38"

took steps off today as they looked a tad silly with the body lift :lol
