    Clutch release fork

Cheers Rick. Only thing is it says it's for the 2.7 and not the 3.0 (if you expand TERRANO under suitable vehicles). Other fork gives no clues at all. Update: Hmmm. Just had a lok at the workshop manual (as acquired from this good site) and indeed it looks like the cheaper unit and there seems...

    Clutch release fork

Morning peeps, So days after the truck got through its MOT, the clutch failed on me. Rather, apparently, it's the clutch fork. I have a slightly eye watering quote from the garage to do the work but fundamentally they are stumped in their search for a clutch fork. It's an obsolete part at...

    Stowaway ate my seat belt

And received the following day. Thank you Rick. Will report back, probably in the new year when fitted. Not 100% sure the stowaway has left hence my delay in getting on with the job.

    Stowaway ate my seat belt

Unbelievably, the little rodent has now done over the offside backseat belt (not the rear, rear seat) as well. Truck now full of traps. I think the blighter might have got in when I stored the rear, rear seat in a barn.

    Stowaway ate my seat belt

No worries Rick. No rush. MOT is February :naughty

    Stowaway ate my seat belt

Thanks for the info. Looks like something best done out of the truck. Do you think it is at all possible in situ? Price is agreable/wonderful/generous. Thank You. Will be keeping my fingers crossed.

    Stowaway ate my seat belt

That would be amazing. The truck is hardly concourse condition. Odd colour belts would just add to the 'patina'. My (admittedly limited) Internet searches have thrown up much. Obviously happy to pay. Thanks for the wiring tip. I guess if I disconnect the battery and give it a while I could...

    Stowaway ate my seat belt

This is a pic of what I have. Will a 3L Patrol likely have the same?

    Stowaway ate my seat belt

Ooh, pretensioners. I was hoping to avoid those. Are they like airbags and can go bang? I guess I should take the cover off and have a nosey.

    Stowaway ate my seat belt

Hi all, Came back from holiday do discover a mouse (I guess) had done this to my seat belt[1]. I'm confident/assuming this will be an MOT failure. Before I scour Ebay, is there any difference between seat belts for 2.7 and 3.0 engines of the 2002 vintage? I assume a driver side belt wont work...

    SWB Maverick Rear Suspension Noise

Hopefully you are onto it, but I was just going to suggest that isn't nearside rear where the jack is stored. It isn't loose and thumping around when you hit a pothole? Probably easily discounted as the wrong kind of noise.

Had A Little Trip In The Camper

Looks stunning (as always). Thanks for sharing. Our last trip to Scotland was in our MG EV. Charging was a slightly (read very) stressful expereince. Top tip for Scotland bound EV travellers, get the ChargePlace Scotland RFID card.

    4WD noises

Cheers for the info everyone. Looking like there are no other options as to what is wrong. That eBay link says near side. Are the driveshafts sided?

    4WD noises

My only other experience with hubs is on a series land rover where you had to get out and twist the plastic centre (Superwinch) or the hub itself (Fairey) to get them to lock. The missing Terrano hub cap is nothing more than a plastic ornamental bowl that goes over the hub (unlike the hefty...

    4WD noises

On my last off-road expedition (towing a harrow around a field) I noticed a clink-clink-clink-clink sound coming from the OSF when on a decent turn in 4x4. It didn't need full lock and when I say "noticed" it was really obvious. What could this be? The truck just went through an MOT recently...
