hi all, this weekends project is to replace alternator, power steering and a/c belts on my 54 plate 2.7SE is this a straight forward task, alternator and power steering look easy enough but any handy tips for the a/c belt would be appreciated :thumbs

sorry just seen this message, yes the bolts are under the door card. since resolving the problem I noticed there was still a slight rattle and found that when the oil was last changed one of the 6mm bolts that holds the sump guard up had been sheered and the sump guard was vibrating on the...

found the culprit at last!!! checked everything including props etc. and it turned out to be the 2 nuts that hold the rear door handle to the door had come loose. cant believe it was something so trivial causing such a racket but am a very happy owner now my car is vibration free :thumbs

Thanks for the replies. The prop sounds like first port of call this weekend. Have already checked suspension and exhaust and they are fine. Will let you know the outcome.

Hi all I've got a 2004/54 2.7SE with 57k miles and fsh. Unless the revs are up I get a noise that transmits through the whole car which sounds like the exhaust hitting somewhere but have checked and it has plenty of clearance?? Any ideas appreciated :thumbs
