I did the injector return pipes 6 months ago along with all the diesel hoses under the bonet. Drum brakes were even stripped and cleaned last month.

turbo was repaired, shop said the oil seals were shot. i sent them the turbo and 3 days later it was sent back. I was more worried about excess oil into cylinders causing damage than using oil. there was no diffence in performance now its fixed.

My terrano looked like that. i cleaned up everything and kept my eye on it. Mine didn't blow smoke at all but did use a lot of oil ended up being the turbo seals. Hope yours just needs cleaning. £300 sorted out my turbo.

just filled up at texaco and it had done 17.98 mpg for the last 205 miles. this was short trips around town. Maybe i had better ring dieselbob.
