Check on the knuckle joint in the engine bay as it could be dry - A lot of WD 40 and some oil squirted on it and turn the sterring a few times and it should free off

Towed my Swift Conqurer 650 T/A to the Irish National Rally in May from the North of Scotland and back with mine no problem 1000 miles return trip in total - Only dipped the oil before I left - used 3 full tanks of diesel though! Good reliable tow wagons .

In the last few weeks my radio has more or less stopped working and seems to be deaf it picks up a strong signal ok but weaker ones are no use with result it scans but wont pick anything up , Tape player and cd plaeyer are working alright - its the Nissan Double din type fitted in the terrano 2...

My old man had a wedge Princess 1800 and used to tow start the buses with it when they wouldnt start (Bedford starters used to click but wouldnt turn without a thump with a hammer) Mind you needed a new clutch every 10 k miles LOL

Mine did the same thing yesterday when it was at the local tyre dealers getting my new exhaust - he says he took off the end piping of the turbo to get the last broken stud out. Glad I didnt takle it myself now on the front drive or I would hve been in big trouble! Lucky its a small private...

Already welded on the tail pipe to the flange and the pipe from the centre box is thin and has a wee hole and the front pipe stainless flex is bursting so look like the LOT!!!!!

Just back from my hols with the Caravan and my exhaust is now starting to blow - its been on for 3 or 4 years now so done not too bad - question is wheres the cheapest / best place for an exhaust - bearing in mind there aint no Kwick fit or budget etc here only McConachies so spoilt for choice...
