    Hi Guys any help? Had Mav in for MOT failed on the brake balance valve been seized and corroded manager to free off with wire brush and loads of WD. BUT what does it do the big spring does not seem to do anything. What should I be looking for? Any ideas?

    Re furbed my auto hubs a few months ago new spring £3.75 from local factors re greased. All seems OK. Gave it a good try out at the last round of the British Off Road Championship in South Wales, and no problem also lots of 4x4 action with Rally GB.

    more bad news Factors phoned to say that the adjusters do not come with springs so you have to buy the spring kit for £37. So over £100 per side. Only need the spring to hold the auto adjuster onto the shoes. I am going to try Miners as Trevor use to race 4x4 and is a good friend of a friend...

    Living in Mid wales managed to get full comp with Swinton for £350 with £100 excess. Not bad as they would not take my full no claims in to account as the Mav 2.7 td is a third car only used for off road, rally marshalling and the occasional trip to work.

    Spent Weekend changing my rear brake shoes. Both drumd came off no problem but noticed that the rear brake auto adjuster was missing from the D/S. How do these work and any idea where I can get on from. Also does anyone have or can tell me where I can get a diagram of rear brakes?
