Yep my Troll is up this month, come January I will have had her for 7 years, much abused off road, but still going strong, had to do loads of work due to off road stuff, new front disks and pads, old only 2 years but aggressive mud wears them down, needed new front leading arm bushes 4 off and...

    engine heating up

The first thing I would do is change the thermostat, just to be sure, the gauge cannot be relied upon to be completely accurate on a motor of this age, do you hear the fan roar on start up and does it go quiet after a few mins, Rick

    Y60 Patrol tachometer

That idea did not work due to the new tacho would not read reliably the existing sensor on the pump pully, might be because it see's 3 pulses per 1 crank rev, (6 webs on the pully) so bought a digital one that has a hall effect sensor and comes with a magnet, mounted that on the plastic timing...

A definite goodbye to my trusty Patrol.

If you are not "Listed" then you can tell the council twats were to go, simply quote you are replacing an existing building, to obtain that just do not demolish ALL of the existing before you start the replacement, if you demolish all then yes it will become a new build, look at one of my new...
