Evening all.....Guess i boobed, i was clearing the filter, in the injector, as described, on the links etc...easy, been a engineer by trade, me thinks !! The fuel pip thats needs to be moved 2 one side carefully........yep it bust on the 'T' joint, dang pipe...Do we have alink to get this pipe...

what mileage does your car have ? I have 85,400 & going strong (& so it should) I am expecting 200k before any serious work , & service her (oil/filters) every 6-8k what can i expect ? do we have any intergalactic mileages ??:thumbs

I had the ol'landrovers & defender etc & they bust my wallet & back, so i got a maverick 2.7 tdi, its comfy & im well impressed with the 4x4 system, i have a farm & never got stuck in the poo, yet !! even pulling a 3.5 t trailer !! (landrover dear o'dear ..never again !!) knock, rattle...

arches i was having a shower room fitted' not in the maverick' at home & the guy was using some paint on ,wet room, waterproof sealer! it goes on like a paint, & sets in a rubber sheet, where it applied ..wow.. i repaired the arches & sealed them with this rubber stuff , under the pannels...

warmer mine is similar , a bit cool.....i know there is no fault, cos when its relativley mild werather, the heater is sound, but as of late the -6 temp , the motor wont warm up until she's done 20mile.. i fixed it with the ol' cover the grill with cardboard trick.......lovelly & warm now :lol

my swb is just starting to bubble under the plastic trim on the rear wheel arches..it will be an easy fix ,i know. But....can we get rear wheel arch pannels to do the job right ?:nenau best wishes to all, for 09....party on :thumb2

sills when i was looking for the swb, all or most , i looked at ,had bubbling/rusty sills in this area...why, what causes it to rot here?

cured mine, after a indepth search for the filter, there she was...lurking in the depths..Now thouroughly cleaned & replace .. bingo !! back to normal & better :clap

i got up this morning on a mission ! 1st the EGR valve was checked, all seems well, (good suck & sound) 2nd the turbo hoses all listened to , & loveling caressed , checking for leaks! all well. 3rd Hmmmm no damp spots on floor, no leaks evedent on body or chassis !! ok....me thinks Back to the...

ditto i have exactly the same fault, i changed the fuel filter, binned the air filter,checked the mini filter, on banjo hose (not there) ! no-maf (non-intercooler) ok .....egr valve to block & turbo hoses to check, t'morra.
