    Limping Terrano

I think that the problem is solved. Found 2 broken wires in the MAF harness, fixed it and everything was the same. But now, when I changed the MAF for another , made a huge difference. So, broken wires and defect MAF was the problem !!

What is confusing me, is the fact that if it was the pump ecu, shouldn't be the engine light always on ? And not intermitent ?

Cleared the codes on the ECU, and went for a run. Before the run, checked for errors and gave the " no errors found " code. After a while engine light went on, checked for errors and the 703 appeared again. Could the fault be on pump ECU? :(:(

    Limping Terrano

Hi, first thing that I noticed was a broken wire in the MAF socket, and another one is striping. Did a quick fix on it. Now the seems to go a little smoother, the hickups still come up, but in a lower rev range and usually after a roundabout. Which makes my guess that is a fuel related problem...

My OBD reader doesn't connect to the ECU. So i'm almost certain that there is no Pin 7.

Yes, I agree and looks like is the basic place to start. The source !! Will start with the filter. Is there any test that I can do to see if the route from the tank to the filter is cleared enough? So that I don't have to replace the fuel lines if there is no need to. thank you
