Hi mate and welcome, I have some knowledge on the ZD30 engine, the rest of the motor is pretty much standard T2, Rick

Welcome!

We'll give you a few pointers :thumb2 Then you have to promise to sign up and become a paid full member :thumb2

What are the symptoms?

Welcome to the best site for all things Nissan 4x4, these trucks were mainy built across the border in Spain, so a local car for you lol.:thumb2

We have a lot of downloads on the forum, but for full access you need to pay the £10 for the full years subscription. I recon you could save that on your first fix, well many people do lol, and have documented it too.

There are not many faults that we haven't got an answer too, from graunching on full lock to replacement steel work on a few unlucky trucks.

I would say, we collectively have more knowledge on these trucks than the Nissan dealers, we also like cheap fixes. A lot can be free too, as long as you have a basic tool kit, socket set, jack and axle stands.

Again welcome,
Rustic

Hi & welcome:thumb2 if you join up as a full member you'll get access to loads of info inc the how to's but the Terrano (T2) is a great motor & many of us have owned more than one

Welcome Nuno, yes, what a great place, and worth every Penny or Euro for joining......it amounts to €14.30 approximately.......:thumb2

First I would like to thank wall of You for the warm welcome.

The symptons are:

When driving, the car gives a kind of hickup and the engine light comes on.
Similar to running out of fuel. From there on, the car has lack of power, struling to the smallest elevation, even in the highway.

When I turn off the ignition, and tenho on, the engine light goes off, until next time.

I know that in the last months the car had the turbo and fuel injection pump Refurbished

If I fix the car and don't pass it on, I will surely become a full member as I plan to keep this car for a while

Best regards

I would try replacing the fuel filter if you don't know when it was last done, mine partly blocked up & was ok on light throttle but when you put your foot down it struggled to rev & the engine management light came on read & cleared the fault code (easy to do info in the down loads/how to's but need to be a full member to read these) & fitted a new filter & it was back to normal:thumb2

there is of course the mini filter ( if it has one ) in the banjo bolt

Thank you !!:thumb2

The previous owner said that the filters were new, doesn't look brand new but also doesn't look that has more than 5.000 miles on it.:nenau:nenau

I'm now a full member !!! :clap:clap

Will post this question in the proper place.
