I think that due to the car being parked under a pine tree for years, the drain holes under the windscreen have become blocked. It's not that bad, I just keep one of those caravan dehumidifier things in the car to keep it dry.

Where was this bad earth? I've got to look at a Terrano on Friday that has exactly the same symptoms - no front washer, no rear washer, no rear wiper. Cheers.

many thanks for that, briggie. this little filter has already been taken out and cleaned twice, both times it was full of crap. Has anybody ever done a modification to add a more accessible in-line filter?
