I wanted to do a bit of light off roading, unfortunately I have the 2004 Maverick so can't go too far off road. But I also got it to tow my trailer tent and a 24ft double axle caravan. I have put proper tyres on (General Grabbers) so it is a bit better off road now....:thumbs
I recently bought a Jack, and tools off e-bay for my 2004 Maverick. They came with a space saver wheel and tyre, looks in good condition. I asked the seller to only send the tools as I did not want the wheel, but if you want it, come and get it, I can send it by courier but am not sure what that...
With everything on there are 2 x 100w and 4 x 55w lights, I can see where I am going. Some plonker came up behind me on the M40 (BMW) flashing me to move over, because he was going faster than me. I was following a queue of traffic so wasn't going any faster. I pulled over and let him pass,then...

I got my bulbs from here. I upgraded my bank of High level brake lights from 5 x 5w bulbs to 5 x 10w bulbs. Ultra bright headlight bulbs, I put in blue LED lamps first then had to take them out for the MOT but replaced with bright white LED lamps.
So did the tread help when he was upside down waving the tyres in the air.....
seems like a good time to check the tread depth as you would not have to bend and get your hands dirty..lol
I have replaced the two big green switches for a couple of Toggle switches from Maplin, they have LEDs on the end of the switch, look mutch better.

If you know of another easy fit thermometer or clock, I am not cutting lumps from the dash..... let me know. Oh that picture is the 'modded' front lights, work well enough...
Only one from Maplin, exterior and interior sensor with a clock, but it was a Prezzy from my daughter, works Ok had to move the exterior sensor from behind the wing, cause it was showing 23c last week, must be getting some heat from the engine bay.
What have I modded that should have been standard?
1. Replaced std headlight bulbs with white light bulbs (ad said 100% brighter)
2. Added 4 x driving lamps (2 are 100w halogen bulbs, for off road use only - of course)
3. 4x General Grabber AT tyres
4. Replaced all high level rear brake bulbs...

Never finished my post....
Clean the windows with methylated spirit this will not leave any residue on the glass.
either remove the glass or at least the door trim so you can get the film below the level of the door trim so it doesn't...
Try a company called Dorotape, it's the company that signmakers use for their vinyl, they do a range of window film. I don't know if they supply the public direct.
When I fitted it to my Renault, I had a problem with the concave curve on the rear window.
Cut the film slightly bigger than you...
