    Snow

Renewed my membership so I'm asking a question! Living in the Pyrenees I have 20 cm of snow up my drive and it aint going any time soon. In fact more is coming. Great fun though. I've got the 3.0 Terrano with 17 inch rims 235/65/17 infinity summer tyres. I'm looking for a set of rims to fit mine...

    Rear brake lock up

Guys (Girls?) I've been living with this for a while but have got access to a decent ramp for a week so I want to cure it. Since fitting new rear shoes approximately 5000 miles ago the rear brake or brakes are very sharp. I would say specifically the rear nearside but its difficult to say...

    Navara dash change

Thanks for replied to my recent Terrano issue, now sorted. Next project is to assist my mate with his two Navaras. he has an 06 Aventura and an 07 Aventura. The 06 has a sexy Sat Nav built in and we want to change all (or part) of that dash to swap sat Navs. What I'm looking for is whether this...

    Sick Terrano

Symptoms described to me over the phone as my car is on loan to a family member in France. Wont start unless bumped down hill(had new battery 6 months ago) ABS light came on, then dials flickering then EML light and loss of power. Hoping this could just be duff battery. Thoughts welcomed

    Flashing seat belt/airbag light

Okay, did the airbag reset. Watched the light flashing. Did a headstand, ran round the car 3 times, turned back off etc. Heres the "you thick tw.t" part. It says when it has gone into diagnostic mode (and it did) you can then read the codes. I take it that means the paperclip out and check for...

    Flashing seat belt/airbag light

Has started flashing constantly. Have clicked all seat belts in. No difference. had a root around for anything obvious disconnected. Anyone had experience of this? My old X trail used to do this when I had a heavy bag on the passenger seat. Obviously no heavy bag on seat. I look forward to...

    Engine management light

It's on! 3.0 2005 Terrano. Have read the download and paperclip system and will do that. Just checking though that it's the same for my later model. No running issues even though the light is on. Came on whilst towing a car trailer and a dead Navara. Note to myself, don't buy a Navara (or tow...

    Navara D40 timing chain kit

Ta. Been on to Billingcar all day on and off. The recall info is via Glyn Hopkins Nissan in Milton Keynes. The service manager definitely stating that the timing chain is a recall on this model. They will do it free with the car having FSH (not necessarily Nissan FSH) As I said in my original...

FUEL : Diesel / City Diesel / Bio Diesel / Sun Flower Oil / Vegetable Oil / Waste Oil

Cheapest diesel I can get in france. Not sure of the pump but its never been changed. All round town driving with a bit of motorway generally hits just the right or just the wrong side of 30 mpg. 3.0 is a great engine. No engine mods.

    Bolt Pitch

Unfortunately on the later Terrano the towing eye is welded to the chassis. So no bolts to remove and compare. Think I've got it sorted now. Have sourced some as per previous post suggesting the pitch at 1.25mm. I'll get back on the forum when I've got some "real" problems rather than these...
