If you drive along at about 30 mph just apply the handbrake gently keeping the push button deprssed & see if it still vibrates, this will tell you if its front or rear. Had this on my mav so I had to loosen my rear wheel bolts & retorque the rear wheel nuts

Yes I bought mine from a company on ebay & rebuilt my gearbox ok. If I can be of assistance let me know. It's not that bad to do but certainly isn't a five minute job, if i remember I had one bearing too many for my 94 model 2.7 te gearbox

I rebuilt my own with a bearings off of ebay not a nice job though

I used blue sealer on mine , hope that helps

brake pipes i would advise you to replace the brake pipes due to corrosion as rubbing them down will reduce the thickness of the wall of the pipe which could then fail under heavy braking

Bought mine off 4x4CB.com. I ordered mine the day before Christmas eve & it turned up the next morning. I ordered on the website but what i chose was out of stock so did a deal on a better unit & the guy rang to check all ok.

i am interested in this project so i will follow closely
