Gearbox rebuild kit

I found a gearbox rebuild kit on the net for £95. its all bearings. has anyone attempted to fit these kits if so is there anything i need to watch for or any tips. its got to be better than spending £600 plus on another box:thumb2

Not heard of this gear box bearing kit

Just wanted to drop u a note to say hope u get it sorted as have re arranged the carsington outing and would be shame to not catch up with u

Yes I bought mine from a company on ebay & rebuilt my gearbox ok. If I can be of assistance let me know. It's not that bad to do but certainly isn't a five minute job, if i remember I had one bearing too many for my 94 model 2.7 te gearbox

How long did it take and will i need any specialist tools. Im a pretty competent home mechanic but ive never tackled a gearbox rebuild before. Ill try owt once:lol
