    Instrument cluster repair?

Cheap is normally best for me. And I'm not scared of getting stuck into things. Life's a big learning curve :lol

Lost a nut from something attached to lower arm

It does look like it, but no. The poly bushes haven't got a split in so I slid them over the ends of the bar. One of the bar ends had quite a bit of surface rust so I slid them both on from one end and as it slid down the bar it cleaned it up. Because the main part is behind the crash plate, it...

Lost a nut from something attached to lower arm

No problem. Here's the eBay item number for the links I purchased 230892058094 Those links come with standard rubber bushes, but I decided to uprate with these. This comes with arb bushes too...

Lost a nut from something attached to lower arm

I've just replaced both my arb links on the front as they were very worn (£10.99 a pair delivered on eBay) then fitted uprated poly bushes to links and arb (in orange) while I was at it (£12.60 from Milner's).

    Instrument cluster repair?

I've sorted the issues out now :thumb2. The LCD display was dry solder joints and I put a bit of copper grease (that's all I had) onto the contacts for the gauges. All is good. Well apart from the speedo not being that accurate :doh its under reading so maybe an excuse to buy some bigger wheels...

    Instrument cluster repair?

Hi, I've just picked up my new (2001) terrano. I knew it had the usual mileage LCD problem but on the way home I noticed the speedo was faulty too, sticking and not reading correct speed etc. :doh I read on here that the LCD could be dry solder joints but has anyone tackled the speedo fault...

    Electric Shocks....

They normally have an electric motor at the top of the shock which will turn a rod inside the piston of the shock altering how quickly/slowly the fluid inside the damper can pass through the piston. You should be able to check if the motors are working by feel or maybe removing them? Some Nissan...

    Terrano newbie!

It's a 2001 diesel in blue. I wanted a swb initially but had to compromise with the wife for a lwb as its now replacing our zafira. Hoping to do some green lanes and p&p. I kinda stayed with cars as I now build new ones at the Toyota factory in derby. The seller had already sent docs through...

    Terrano newbie!

Just thought I'd say hi. Although I'm not technically new to the Terrano as I was a Nissan dealer trained technician, I am new to Terrano ownership. I quit mechanics after I saw the light in 2001 so I've got no real major Terrano work under my belt because with Nissans was mainly servicing, as...
