so as it says, My T2 has a saggy arse, springs and shocks are a bit shot, any wieght in back and it sinks about 2 inch. there seems to be loads of opinion on here to which are best replacements. Basically, I'd like pair of heavy duty gas shockers and good pair of springs, not too bothered...

nope, theres 2 bolts from bottom side of inlet manifold and 2 bolts that connect pipe from turbo end to valve. pipe ones are pigs to get to but can be done. i left it in place and just slid gasket out.

to be honest i dont know IF its making much difference to to my mind it has to be making some. I did this on my mk3 mondeo though and that DID make a huge difference. I also remove the crankcase breather from the air inlet too and just fed a pipe down inner wing, this i dont think did much...

I removed the air/suction pipe to mine completely from the little solonid valves. then took the gasket out between the pipe from turbo side (you know what i mean) and the EGR valve, then drew round it on a thin sheet off ally, this way i could make an exact blanking plate/gasket and refitted it...

AH right, thought it would only work when 'driven' through prop. will try one wheel on ground and see what happens...... it may be working ok after all, i really must have more faith in it :-) steve

hi, thats what its doing, its acting like fixed axle, had both wheels off ground and both turn same way when you spin one. been reading a bit on here so will try another oil flush, i did all oils when bought it in december, but will try another. if that dont cure it i think itll be a strip...

hi all, Just had a quote of £569.69 for insurance for an 03 T2(full comp), seems expensive for 43 yr old with clean licence. Do you know of anyone who is more specialised in insuring these things? Cheers Steve

i had this problem, mine was restrictor type before, with little hole in it, and got new spring and ball version. like you said, its too long, I just packed mine out with 7 copper washers, you need to put them on thread end so banjo still sits in its correct place. works a treat and power is...

hi, yep, tried all obvious stuff. nothing out of place and no wierd noises. There was a def pop and power went. even thinking now along lines of dropping wastegate PSI and see if the lower air pressure will give a slightly richer mix? to see if its something in pump thats gone. same fuel...

wahey, i know this one :thumb2 ask me ask me :D :D i belive, and now about to be wrong, its the full lock stop bolty thingys. they probally well worn. good dollop of grease will quieten it down and help.
