hi all,
Just had a quote of £569.69 for insurance for an 03 T2(full comp), seems expensive for 43 yr old with clean licence.
Do you know of anyone who is more specialised in insuring these things?

Wow thats bad.

But depends on your postcode a lot.

I assume you've specified an accurate annual milage and not just set it too high? Reasonable excess?

Try NFU....they are surprisingly reasonable with 4x4s because its their bread and butter.

NFU say my Postcode is too far from rural, LS20,
250 excess and 12000 max milage.

frank pickles wont touch because not modified enough, (they specalise in heavy mods)
confused £520 cheapest.

but,

traders policy for T2, my works van and any other car i own, fully comp, £1095, van insurance due in December and is 500 plus as its a new trafic so maybe thats an option?

God and i thought it was difficult getting the thing to run right let alone insure it.

This aint the first time I've heard about insurance hike this year, if this is the trend there will be a lot of people dumping their pride and joys. Strange the answer from NFU? I got insurance with them with no probs.
