Wouldnt be going for a front mount if anything i would be keeping it as simple as possible and as cheap as possible,my dad had a 2.5 pajero that had an intercooler on top of the engine and no vent on the bonnet so was thinking the Mistral might be ok aswell.

Its 13.2v at idle and under load it is 15.7v yes the indicator works fine but every time the indicator bulb lights up itl drop a gear then when the bulb goes off itl go back up a gear so when the indicators on the truck is kinda pulsing the revs in time with the indicator does that explanation...

Is it just a case of removing the metal bit on top of the rocker cover that says TURBO on it an replacing it with a tdi intercooler or is it far more complex?The Mistral has a bulge on the bonnet so anybody know if that would clear the intercooler? Cheers Stuart :)

Hi guys i need to change the ATF in the mistral i have never done an autobox before can i do it on the ramps at the house or will it need to go to the garage?Also is there a filter in there to change and how much ATF should it take? Cheers Stuart :)

Well i just got home from work was stuck an extra 7 days lol (easy money) and have been having a play in the snow and i am amazed at the ability of the old mistral bloody awesome even pretty good in 2wd :thumb2

Yep as said the brackets unscrew from the original head unit and then its a case of ditching the cage and screwing the brackets on to the new head unit as said already beware of the inards of the stereo i had to cut mine down abit to prevent any damage on the pioneer unit that i fitted.

They are also bonded onto the doors one of my rear ones is smashed so i have taped it up with black tape so i think the chances of removing them from another car without breaking them would be tricky!If its of any help the ones on mine are by a company called EGR.

I dont think Hilux ones would fit mate there was a mistral breaking on ebay that had all the wind deflectors on it might be worth hunting for that?

I have the same blue filter on mine and it does weep a bit not really enough to worry me but will be buying from nissan next time though!

Thats a good point as at 32 psi they defo dont look flat and i have noticed no charactristics (spelling :rolleyes:) of under pressure tyres whilst driving and there seems to be no uneaven ware across the tyre at the moment anyway will be intresting to find out.
