Well it certainly appears to be, very surprised that a fuel filter you go so quickly, anyway I will know for next time. I was a bit concerned i would not make 150k with it but now looks like I will, only another 2.5k to go.

It's not the original filter, i changed it about 18 months ago and did smear my ring with oil but the thing just won't shift now

Mine is a 3.0 so does not have a mini filter. I tried to change the fuel filter earlier tonight but I think it must be welded on, i could not budge it even with a extension bar on the strap wrench

Is that something the garage will be able to identify fairly easily ? And fix fairly cheaply? Or am I asking how long is a piece of string ?

    Engine running rough, stuttering

Well after some issues with the postal service i finally got the replacement maf today, fitted it and went for a drive and the problem is no better, so looks like it's going to have to be a visit to the local garage to see what the issue is.

    No rear lights

I will check the bulbs first but imagine it would be strange for them both to go, I have a tow bar fitted so hope I dont have to start pulling all the loom apart. Think I might find out how to use my multimeter this weekend.

    Manly steps

I took mine off last weekend, had previously tried to use metal filler to hold the aluminum steps to the steel brackets which lasted until i went off road. Anyway they are tucked neatly behind the shed now, cant belive how much quieter the truck is now without all the rattling.

    Any greenlanes in South Lincs?

Living in Peterborough I have the luxury of being on the boarder between Cambridgshire and Lincolnshire. There are some great lanes in Cambridgeshire but wanted to know if anyone knows of any good lanes in South Lincs which I could enjoy for a day out in the next few weeks.
