so thanks to rick and a few others on the site my friends tranno is running much better 2.4 petrol so fitted new centre pipe and second hand manifold/blancked off egr valve,adjusted tickover,cleaned maff sensor filled oil up was on bottom off dip stick ooops.changed coolant all was good.then...

found the problem the pedal box bolts to master cylinder were loose and the top bolt had come out ,cant find it perhaps some tosser left it out:eek:,so the metal work has snaped so the pedal wasn't pessing master cylinder

owner say it hard to get in to all gears having to slam in to gear,when engine is not running 1st gear and reverse select easy

whats involved in clutch change

does it have hydrolic clutch is the cylinder on the out side just had message from owner so it might be hard to get in all gears??

hi can any one tell me were the fuel filter is on 2.4 petrol terrano 2 is it the big round black cylinder on the right if so how do you take it apart would you need to bleed it after refitting new filter or just cranck it over till it starts:eek:

well a big thanks to rick ive fitted the blancking plate to egr valve,cleaned maf sensor and turned idle speed up she running a lot better also,im not the owner joined hear to help lady friend:D fitted new centre box and new exhaust manifold it was cracked,and got there just in time the oil was...
