Maf Ok...an up date on my problematic maf !! The garage that I bought my terrano from have sent me a replacement sensor,this also does not fit the electric socket... So I've sent them pics, they've now told me that the maf socket on my motor is the same as one on a xtrail 2.5 engine...

Maf Morning!! Right gone outside and found some numbers on the sensor.... 22680 75000 and afh70m-38 reg of motor is oe54 ura cannot find any corresponding mafs on ebay etc.. Just phone nissan they put reg in and said 5 weeks delivery and £430 plus vat!!!!!!!! :eek: can any one help? Or have I...

Maf Got home checked the electrical clip/ socket coming from wiring loom.... Dos t fit the new socket on the new maf :eek: wasted journey!!!!! The socket on the top of the new maf is bigger than the wiring socket..

Maf Thanks for all the help!! I've just driven via Ipswich from work on the way home to Sidcup (160 miles!!!!)and picked up a maf unit from euro car parts for£160 inc vat:eek:I'm just hoping it fits and sorts this power problem out!!ill let you know later if it makes any difference

Maf 6 squirts at a distance from the cleaner can... As I say the bottom end power was not good before the new filter was fitted..shall I try and buy a new maf from motor factors or similar they can normally get stuff next day.?

E ml No the eml is not lit up

Loss of power Does the maf control the turbo? My turbo seems to kick I around 3000 rpm.. When the maf s unplugged it doesn't seem to come on at all? Cheers rob

Maf Sorry chaps tried it with and with out the maf sensor plugged in... It goes up the hill better without the cable plugged in?? But is not as smooth on the road..is there any defo way of telling if the maf needs changing? I'm meant to be towing my daughter s horse / trailer on Sunday...

Power loss I've unplugged the maf cable and done another hill start .. Still the same ,amost stalls no grunt.. Even with the maf unplugged on the flat motor still runs smooth.. What should I try next?? And please remember I have v little knowledge on engines etc .. Thanks in advance rob
