Do you have an oil watchman ? I have a 2500 litre tank. Never filled it until 2 years ago, then some dirty scumbags slowly emptied it over two months (my house backs onto fields). Put a 1000 litres in a month after AND an oil watchman and I got the scum, alarm went off and I was at the ready...

Hope you get a result and the guy is reasonable. He can deny all he likes but at least you have the receipt of "work" done. Does the receipt state what was undertaken ? The trading standards route can be long and drawn out and all the time the car is still in state it's in now. Good luck.

Got it. Used a 5' bar, bit of heat and it finally turned. Only trouble is the plug is pretty well chewed up. Where can I get a replacement ?

I can't get the drain plug out !

Decided to change the gearbox oil today ,as to my knowledge it's never been done in its time with me. So ,4 litres of gl4 ready to go, loosened the fill plug, just to make sure I can fill it. Can I get the effin drain plug out ?!, can I eck, used a 4' bar , still wouldn't budge, copious amounts...

Blimey ! Sounds complicated.

I'd like to do some basic welding on my truck. Not sure what kit I need. Mig, tig, arc etc are all words that don't mean much. What do I need ? Would I be able to do some basic welding on my vehicle ? I've read a bit and seen a bit and am not a bad learner. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks

Thanks. Only minor issue now is, the clutch pedal is about 25-30mm higher than the brake.
