Morning all, I had my ignition backing plate changed out for a brand new one yesterday, sure enough the old one was burnt lol. However, even after replacing, my ignition issue is still existing, allbeit less often. So, the question is now, whats left to check and replace? Just to go over...

Neh no point. Antivirus is Avast Windows has a very decent soft firewall built in (in Windows 7 anyway) and most of your home routers are also hard firewalls.

If it was battery related or leads etc, wouldnt the engine at least attempt to chug over? Last time I had issue with a battery (hense the replacement) the glow plugs didnt even fire up properly lol

I work in IT and we try and push people away from using that lol. Although I suppose for the average user who doesnt look at porn sites all day or download torrents its fine. :thumbs

Hmm I am struggling to find the part I need then when searching for ignition switch backplate. Could someone link me to what I should be looking for. Also if someone could give me a rough guide on the steps I need to make to change it myself, gunna give it a crack.

Ok so my issue is still present (been getting by turning key slowly). Not had time to look at it yet, too busy with work. BUT I think the issue is not as expected, last couple of days I have been gettnig in, turning key till glow light goes off etc then turning key slowly, I hear the click in...

I am sure I certainly would not do any illegal copies for a couple of quid. I think the one I received is illegal anyway, was in its original wrapping but the printing on the DVD cover is pretty poor lol.
