    Have you checked the fluid level yet?? If you check the level with the engine off the level on the dip stick will be high, (gearbox plus TC fluid) Bob (hilltop) .

    Auto box It should all be in the downloads ! I put it there many moons ago ! Don't drain the fluid yet! this is the corect way to check the fluid level in an auto box = with the gear lever in park= start the engine= foot brake hard on= now move the gear lever through all positions THREE times...

    panard rod Yep, thats the panard rod, locates the axel central to the drive line. should be the first thing to check for the fault you have. I bet if you change the bushes on the panard rod all will be ok. Bob. .

    I wonder if Sir Zippy or anyone has a manual for the 95 model ?. The disc I have is for the fly by wire models, and that shows 2 relays. if we could have a look at one for an earlier model we may be able to help. Bob. .

    water in fuel light ? You should have a water in fuel light fitted, maybe a seperate lamp or yours may use the MIL light, mine uses the MIL (98 lwb TDi) the sensor is in the bottom of the fuel filter.

    headlamp relays There are 2 relays for the dip beam, the one for the r/h headlamp is on the side of the drivers foot well just in front of the drivers door(behind panal), the l/h one is on the other side of the car (same location) see w/s manual download ex zippy. Bob (gw0fje)

    jump start don't know if this will help, but when you tow to start you still have full battery voltage at the glow plugs (+12 and a bit volts) but when you use the starter motor will drop the voltage considerably (cold cranking voltage) this can be as low as 50% of battery volts !!

    MIL light will also show if there is water in the fuel filter, there's tap to drain on bottom of filter. Bob .

    Windscreen wiper relay

    wiper motor As Toolbox said it will be the auto park contacts under the cover on the gearbox end of the wiper motor!! just remove the plastic cover and clean the contacts, a simple and FREE d.i.y. Job. Bob (gw0fje) .
