Hi all, Is there anyone that produces an off the shelf front tow eye extension? I need to extended the eye forward of the bumper, or at least to the bumper. Every time I attach the restraint line from the balloon to the standard one I'm in constant fear of ripping the bumper off :eek: Cheers...

Cut the damper line and put a ball bearing in to the 3 way block at the slave end. System has been bled to death! All bushings intact on pedal.

Hi all Have replaced the clutch, slave cylinder and master cylinder and blanked off the damper that's near the rear axle, it was corroded and the pipe not much better. All works fine, but now have an engine resonance through the clutch pedal. With the pedal all the way up or all the way down...

Just to update got the turbo in the end from ITS Turbo, best price I could find and great next day delivery. Luckily everything went perfectly when changing it too!

Thanks all for the options, will be in contact with them. Terrano is still in France but due back this week to the UK, I will replace the turbo myself so cheaper than having it done in France!

Ahh didn't think of it in those terms which seems obvious when you do think about it and makes complete sense. Surprisingly it was happening on 4x4 type ground will keep an eye on it and see if/when it happens again. Paul

Fuse box under the bonnet has a maxi fuse that covers the two aux power sockets, from memory 50amp. I had to order one from my local incompetent Nissan dealer

I think my 3.0 maybe suffering from the same kind of vibration... Is the UJ available separately (pattern part rather then Nissan) or is it the case of a "new" propshaft? Paul

John, I have just bought a 3.0 and it does exactly the same thing, as has been said is a known issue on these engines. I was told its the sensor near the starter motor that is normally the one that plays up, I haven't checked the exact location as after a pressure check I wasn't too worried. Paul

It doesnt appear to have been in the water or near the sea, seems to have spent much of its time near Manchester. Its only the chassis that shows signs of corrosion, nothing on floorpan or other obvious bits, outer bodywork is very clean. Will get this repaired and give it a damn good clean up...
