    immobiliser

RAC and AA vans have a feature called 'Run-lock' that allows the driver to press a button on the dash and to take the key out with the engine running. As soon as the gear lever is moved the engine cuts out so the vehicle can't be driven away.

    Wanted: Rear bump stop

One of mine has gone walkabouts. Even just the figure-8 rubber without the backing plate would do. Tim

    Understanding weights on data plate

It doesn't really matter why the auto has a lower tow weight limit. The police and VOSA will use the numbers on the plate and Nissan aren't going to up the figures on the plate for you. You might be able to get your trailer manufacturer to 'downplate' the trailer to 1700Kg. This way you'll be...

    What diagnostic plug is this?

Are you sure? Isn't that OBD2? I thought OBD2 plugs had 16 pins while Consult has 14.

    Errrrrrrrrrrrrr

I had the exact same symptoms when I had the wrong MAF fitted. It would work until the car warmed up and then there would be no response to any throttle input but the car would still tick over. I got round it by disconnecting the MAF until I got the right one. You end up with less power but...

    Clutch Pedal Play

That's a pain if they keep collapsing when you try to drill. There a B&Q brass catch just like the one I used for mine on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10MM-BRASS-PLATED-BALL-CATCH-QTY-2-MUST-SEE-/321090417798?pt=UK_DIY_Material_Cabinets_Cupboards_MJ&hash=item4ac27af486 You should be able to...

    Clutch Pedal Play

Yes, I had the pedal not returning the last inch or so and very occasionally had to pull it up with my foot. It's been fixed for a couple of years now and I've never had to pull it back up.

    Clutch Pedal Play

The bush I made up went in position 3. 10mm OD, 8mm ID.

    Clutch Pedal Play

There is one with a 10mm OD. Then run an 8mm drill through the middle to get your 8mm ID.

    Clutch Pedal Play

That's a shame. All you need is a bush that is 8mm ID and 10mm OD. Perhaps running a 8mm drill through one of these would do the trick: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181079116325

    Clutch Pedal Play

It fits well - I've had mine in for about 2 years now and it still feels good now.

I saw this fix on Difflock from JAR126 : http://forum.difflock.com/viewtopic.php?p=530707&sid=821c9fd175296a3c9407932c8cfcdf5a Buy one of these...

    speedo out.

Speedo's by law can over-read but they are not allowed to under-read. GPS (sat-nav) speed will be slower to update but will be 100% accurate.

    iPad ?

There's a rocker switch on the side.

    Chrysler voyager ?

From Wikipedia: According to EuroNCAP crash test results, the 1996 model Chrysler Voyager did so badly in the frontal impact that it earned no points, making it the worst of the group. The body structure became unstable and the steering column was driven back into the driver's chest and head'...

    Tiger seal wheel arch plastics

Wear latex/vinyl gloves when doing this. Tigerseal and Sikaflex do NOT come off skin.

    Clutch Pedal Play

There's a small white nylon 'top-hat' bush that fits in the hole in the pedal the clevis pin goes through. This falls apart and gives a lot of play in the pedal.
