Sorry for being a bit green on this subject ... When you say almost 100% during summer is that from a seperate tank in the boot ? surely it needs regular forecourt diesel to initially start the engine then change over to shop oil .. a friend of mine is running his Ford Galaxy on 50/50...

when using SVO then ... is it a 50/50 mix with forecourt diesel ? Is that any brand of pure new clean cooking oil ? seems to me a lot of hassle for little saving :confused: i have a 1998 Mistral 2.7 ..

sorry not been on here for a while ... but had operation which buggered me up a little .. on the mend now though .. right ... the Towbar ! Fitted the towbar ok recently and now doing the electrics ... The electrics supplied were a premade dedicated loom which simply plugs into the light...

Hi all ... quite embarrassing last night as i get stuck on some 4 inch thick but flattish hard packed snow/ice ... and had to be towed out by a mates landie .. :o Whatever it tried the wheels just slipped round over the ice and started to dig deep .. no real grip at all. What i need to know...

well the Snow is here in East Yorkshire ... very thick it is too ! Been out and about today in 4x4 mode and doesn't my little Mistral hold the road just great .. well chuffed .. was funny to see lots of cars sliding around around .. especially an 08 plate Merc trying to get up a slight...

Anyone here use one of the single height In dash GPS / Radio / DVD jobbies ... How well do they perform .... are the GPS maps upgradable ... whats the sound quality like ... best makes to buy etc ... something similar to this type ...

thanks lads ..... ill give it a try tomorrow ... Also new problem today ! .. :confused: Recently had the brake foot pedal switch replaced which releases the drive stick on autos .. until you press the brake pedal and hear it click you cannot get into drive .... so new one was fitted and all...

the wipers on my mistral are playing up .. sometimes they they wont go back to start position and stop half way if i turn them off. Also the iintermittant setting doesnt work at all .... ive heard it could be the relay contacts playing up but where is it and how do i clean the contacts ...
