i have 8" zero offset hilux this shogun wheel will fit, trust me..

i have 31's mate, this will just be the spare. it is basically a new tyre i got at good price on wheel so hopefully just have 5 spare nuts just in case?? thanks, mike.

1.3 ltr for the later models. there isnt a light and heavy duty is there? just that the earlier ones had a heavier casing/different gearing?

you may be lucky and have the fixed front hubs :D much better than guessing if you serviced them that week :lol

hi, i have just purchased an alloy wheel for a shogun with a 31" tyre on for my terry. however it appears i need collared wheel nuts? the wheel is flat where the nuts go in.the wheel doesnt have the 60 degree taper as terranos have. does anyone have suitable nuts to suit? 5? thanks. mike

i agree, and they would also make some super looking rock sliders with the chrome bits unbolted, though they obviouisly wouldnt function as them. bit of 2x2 box, bit of jiggling....:thumbs mike

The valve would allow air out but not back in,along with water etc I had water in my rear diff when i lasted changed the oil.

Would a 1way valve, similar to washer pipe system, be easier or would it want to draw air back in as it cooled?

from my own experience with diesel engines, not terry, white smoke(extremely excessive!!) was pump timing and glow plug fault. but that was on a vw t4 2.4d. same symptoms tho

if the mudflaps do rub on the inner part of the flap take them off,cut them down the middle and pop them back on, atleast you will get 50% of spray caught. i had to hammer the sill flange flat too but easy peasy.

its 48 degrees on standard wheels....

hilux surf steelies, 8" and zero offset will be kinder to your ball joints and cv's

look up event maxxis ml698 at, they are identical to bfg and i can vouch for road manners(i did 22k on mine and they still had plus 7 mm of tread on. fraction of the price,same look/tread pattern and not remoulds either! get these in a 31" and bobs your uncle..:thumbs

thanks! heres a pic when we first picked dino up.. clean first job was to change the road tyres for ml698 ats, i fitted wheel spacers too just to fill the arches out.
