    Whats this do?

    it deosn't seem to have any holes or gaps to atmosphere and when i did tappets felt under rocker cover and no holes there either so thought i need to know what its purpose in life is.

    On top of the rocker cover there's a silver circular 'thing' :? with a pipe attached. which goes to the block attached to the pillar under the front right of the intercooler. Just cos im nosey whats this circular thing do? :? I know its a technical description so if you need me to describe...

    looked on nissans service guide even that showed it on the left (as viewed looking into the bay) so i'll let you off! :smile: I've loads of oil spray leaked over that side so hopefully it'll just be cack on the sensor, still haven't managed to get to see sensor yet though. Anything besides...

    Cheers Toolbox, Is the sensor visable from the engine bay or from below as i can't see much besides the turbo and its bits? is there any pics on the site which show its position Cheers in advance Ryan

    Nice 1. I reset the ecu and all cleared, then when the EVIL check light came on rechecked the ecu all that was on was the no47 crank fault. How do i clean the sensor? I know where the engine is but thats as far as i go! Well not quiet but a little nudge in the right direction...

    finally reset the ecu and gave the car a run, the fault is 47 crankshaft position sensor, incorrect signal. Any idea how to sort this fault? Cheers Ryan

    Hi all, Trouble with my motor can ne1 help me with these codes and hopefully get the old girl purring Its either 47, 11 & 12 or 47 & 32 can't find 32 on the workshop downloads so assume i couldn't read the codes and its the later one I've looked at the w/d and found that...

    right i've bridged the ecu test and here goes my findings 47, 11 & 12 or 47 & 32 but i couldn't find 32 on the list so i went for the 11 and 12 all the flashing threw me! :? Don't know what it all means so over to the knowledgeable ones (thats you lot :wink: ) Thanks in advance Ryan

    im off out with the laptop now can't wait to get it running right, nothing worse than lacking power especially when its a big heavy brute, Why do some have the mini filter and others don't? Cheers Ryan

    Hi All, Im a new member and im having trouble with the old girl the engine 'check' light comes on now and again, to get this to go off i'd rev the engine hi and let it drop off, it'd go off, sometimes for days sometimes for mins, I seem to have lost power especially on the hills...
