Hi all, I know its not 4x4 related but im desparate the Seat website is nowt like as helpfull as you. I got home yest and the car wouldn't engage rev gear managed to get in rev but found i'd lost 1st and 2nd gear. Checked linkages all seem fine tried tweeking it and still no joy...

Hi all, Firstly has anybody had to replace the sensor situated between the water pump and alternator on the engine. I've had intermittent problems with my crank sensor so disconnected this and it stopped the intermittent bit and left the fault light on permenantly. (thus stopping...

tried it thought i'd unplugged the engine not the maf! no mini filter either why can't i get an easy fix! tried with new fuel filter, air filter, no filter, half tank of des and full 'redex' all with no joy, maybe the hill's fault just too big for the old gal!

Hi there, I've just seen in a post that you can up the boost presure on older tdi's from 1 to 2 and increase fuel presure. Whats classed as an old t2 and how do you go about tweaking the old girl. Cheers Ryan

i shall have another look this sat although mine has an awfull lot more oil sprayed about down there, :roll: does yours have the sensor positioned just behind the fan as well? Alt side the pic i supplied is of a sensor on mine, Cheers ryan

Just a bit of extra info, its a hitahi set up. egr valves still there but blocked pipe, how do u go about removing it seen as its just a spare part now or is it best to leave well alone Cheers Ryan

Is it just above the starter motor and wears a rubber boot? Not sure if this im looking at there is an oil sensor cos it looks screwed into the engine. I had a look but as you'll know its not the best area to access and didn't want to take it out and end up regretting it and covered in oil...

is it easy to spot as i've struggled to see ne thing not even wires. I haven't looked too much under mani so will look tonight. Can you narrow down its position (does it look the same?) as its all cacked up under there which maybe the fault touch wood.

if its the breather for rocker sholdn't there b some kinds of holes thru the rocker cover? are they mega small? i couldn't feel even a dent thru the rocker when i did tappets.
