Hi All, I have noticed a grinding/rubbing noise coming from the rear drive chain/diff. Nothing at all when cool but after a few miles it becomes evident. It gets worse around corners. Would this be diff oil issue or would i need to look uj's etc?

I have noticed my glove box appears to be warped and doesn't fit flush on the right hand side when shut. Not sure if it has warped or needs adjusting? Also has anyone up graded the interior lights to led's? If so any recommendations?

Thanks for the replies again. That explains a lot and indeed the difficulty in reversing on normal ground with 4x4 engaged. I always use 2wd in everyday normal driving.

Sounds good but previous experience of 3 way coolers is that it will eat battery power. Should be fine with engine running etc.

I have owned various cars over the years which suffer faded plastic trim and tried various products over the years. Best one I have found is actually peanut oil! Doesn't seam to work on the rear light plastic surrounds though. Has anyone got any other suggestions?

I have been round with some spray grease and it has made a slight difference. The rear shocks are weaping so that looks to be the cause of the knocking at the back.

I have the strap on type square ones. I have found that there is a lot of vibration and it impairs the view. Also if it there is strong head wind the drivers side wing mirror keeps folding inwards! I have seen others that clip on to the top of the assembly and are tear drop shaped.

The whole drive train and suspension seam generally noisey. I think i'll try and go round with some spray grease to start and see if this cures the problem. There is a distinct clunk from the rear suspension on the drivers side now which needs investigating and a noisey pas pump!

I did try the dealer and they were not much help. I have emailed a few breakers.

They live in a separate part of the house in their own self contained bit luckily but it can get a bit annoying at times! I do have to remind them it's my name on the mortgage now and again :lol
