Does anyone know whether the 3.0 engine has the mini filter in the injector pump.:nenau

I have them on my other car and vision is clearer and I find less eye strain on longer journeys. Would you not be able to get a test drive with them?

Good shout on the primer unit. After finding air in the feed pipe to filter I replaced that with rubber straight through, bubbles in feed gone sorted so I thought. I then transferred my clear pipe to after of the filter to find it looking like a fish tank feed. Fiddled with pump top and bubbles...

Just ordered feed and return pipes 10 and 6mm 10mtrs of each. Thought the same while I'm getting down and dirty may as well do them both. Hopefully sorts out the bad running give everyone an update when fitted.

I fitted new filter yesterday as my first thoughts. I have fitted the clear hose before the filter so the bubbles look like they are coming from before housing. Thanks anyway.

I've had the battery off over night to do a battery off reset on my 03 plate in the past with no ill affects.

So is the fuel injected timing as would be a spark in a petrol engine? My thinking was it was the compression of fuel and air that caused the bang. I don't think I will ever fully understand dirty diesel.:( Quite ironic this because if I can't find an air leak and a filter change doesn't stop...
