Kwik fit said the same about the brakes on my wifes passat, strangely enough they lasted another 3 years and passed 2 mots before they needed changed! Id maybe get another opinion before you fork out to get them changed as Kwik fit always seem to be at the rip off... thats why they do the free...

I know but we get told when we are taking our holidays... and all holidays get cancelled around that time because of the marching season, the rallies the wrong time of year for me! Any other month would probably suit!!

yes.. the gv is the grand vitata... only thing i would say about the jimny is that if your tall the steering column doesnt adjust on them making them a bit cramped! They certainly seem like good motors though!!

i wouldnt go for a gv for an off roader... it was bad enough controlling it on the road never mind off it!!!

I had a suzuki gv 1600 hardtop before i got the terrano. I enjoyed it as it was my first 4x4 but i have to admit it was the most basic and uncomfiest motor ive ever had!! Didnt look back when i managed to do a deal with my old man and trade it in for his discovery when i bought his terrano!!

I thought that but whats the point of posting stupid comments like that as in this current climate on the site it is going to get folks backs up. The sooner we go back to helping each other with our 4x4 troubles and advice the better.
