Terrano II 2.7TD Salomon

I was thinking of getting Lucy a new toy for Christmas to replace her aging Rav4.

I've seen a 3 door 98 S plate Terrano II 2.7TD Salomon 120k miles for £2,375, what are they like on fuel and are there any bad bits to look out for?

Oh and this is my 100th post, it took a while but I got there :lol:

Isn't this spec with leather seats?

Same as mine engine wise/age- I get 28-30MPG

Yes leather seats etc, apparently there were only 300 brought into the UK when new.

Rags truck is a 5 door, Lu only uses it to go to work and shopping, she has enough trouble parking the Rav without adding another 2 doors :lol:

So are there any bad points to look out for?

Check the rear seat belt mountings as they rot like mad, the outer sills just behind the doors back to the rear wheel arch rot nicely aswell & behind the rear bumper on the down ward seams :roll:

Im only 5ft and I have a 5 door and I find it easy to park and great to drive if that helps :lol: Rags looks a good buy better the devil you know I speak from my latest disaster :roll: :lol:
