My terrano is a 2002 2.7 diesel. The manual just states free wheeling hubs "where fitted" blah blah How do I know if I have got them or not? No indication on the caps, as they are missing! Previously I had a newer model that didn't have them. The wheels are different... (I can post pics tonight).

It wasnt quite on level ground, worked well for getting the old stuff out but made it look full. slightly over 6l went in in the end.

Doesn't seem to be... there's about 2" clearance all round Some illustrations of exhausts on the spares sites have it on one side only, the old one has it both sides. My part was 41 including gaskets from the (only) shop in Macclesfield.

my new front pipe didn't have the welded on doubler plates near the bend. what are they for? Its on now, I aint changing it again!

I guess that's an option. But I like the idea of putting the load onto another bit of the roof as well as the roof rails. Mine will be the one half way up a mountain on its side due to overloading the roof ;)
