The last 2.7 terranos c2005 had a std din radio with the hazard on the facia mount. Need to find one of them in a scrappy! I'm just coping with a converter cassette with a 3.5 jack on it to my MPS player/phone. I was surprised at the quality of the sound.

I put some GL5 left over from the front diff in with the GL4 in the main gearbox. But although I was told the difference was only to do with its heat capability (gas limit) I've now read elsewhere that GL5 might have additives that could eat some oil seals and synchro rings in there. Any truth...

I just changed the gearbox oil. After a bit of a run it doesnt seem so bad. Must get it on the breakdown insurance. By the sound of it it should get worse and warn me before it leaves me stranded? All the gears change nicely and all sound the same.

Bit mystified. checked the diff oil level and it was fine. Drained the oil. didn't seem to be 3 litres there... Filled it up and it was full with 1.5l. Whats going on? spec says 2.8l and it seems to be barely half of that. Car was pretty level.... Would it have made a difference to run the car...

The std rails say 75kg on a sticker i must remember to peel off.. On the road ill normally only have three gliders max but my other terrano coped with 4 no probs. Off road insurance wont pay out for a disaster anyway im sure. If i did roll the gliders would be many times the value of the car...
