Back in July I drove a good way up the old coach road from St Johns in the Vale to Dockray - open to 4x4s but quite rough. This got me to a place to take off spot on Clough Head without too much effort (though still quite a climb for me these days).

Split the back one over the weekend. Spraying diesel out. What's the best replacement pipe to get? I think I'll do them all - the the one to the pump looks a bit difficult...I've not worked out where the other end is yet! Should they all have clips on? The back one didn't...

Twas the alternator. Picked up a Remanufactured one on ebay with 12 month guarantee for 90 quid delivered. Just fitted it, no warning light, 14v when revved, 12.5 v at idle. I'll drive it to work tomorrow. Now, as the replacement wasn't an exchange, does the old one have any value to anyone...

Got the alternator out. Charged the battery. looks like i need a new or exchange alternator...

Looks like i need a new battery (but i will first check the terminals). For the 2.7 what spec is recommended and what sort of money are they? Ik guessing i shoupd use a 90ah and 75 or 60 wont cut it. And cold crank amps should be 750? Looks like they start at £75...
