    Help again lol

Pull the bulb :lol Kidding aside though, my '04 3.0 had the Engine Management Light on almost continuously and never put a foot wrong. If I remember correctly, it could be almost anything that brings it on, from a purge canister (if fitted) to a brake light switch. Have you access to a...

Other Hobbies - Shooting (Viewer Discretion Advised)

I do a fair bit of stalking and fox control. I used to shoot a lot of pheasant, but I've kind of lost the lust for it now and just mainly stick to stalking and pest control now. I have A-bolts in 22-250, .270 and a CZ452 in .22, as well as my White Diamond 12b :thumb2

    Best ever penetrating fluid

'Panther Piss' 50/50 acetone and brake fluid. I made a litre or so of this stuff up last year and it's been incredible on everything from seized caliper slide pins to tractor double-wheel nuts. If you can't use heat, use this :thumb2

    I'm back :-)

    Don't hate me . . . . ? I've ended up buying an '06 Jeep Cherokee with 52k on the clock

    I'm back :-)

It went into 4wd just fine (and low range too) It only made the noise in 5th, and disappeared when I lifted my foot from the throttle. Truck drove really nicely otherwise (apart from a slight whine in 3rd at higher revs). I hope he gets it sorted as I liked it a lot. Had a couple of scuffs and...

    I'm back :-)

Well, once again God has vomited on my duvet  The 'new' truck has failed its MOT on the chassis frames needing welding, so I've run away screaming  Test-drove another promising one this evening, but their was a helluva rattly whine in 5th. Seemed to be coming from the transfer box...

    I'm back :-)

To tell you the truth, I wasn't sold on the colour to begin with as I prefer darker-coloured wagons (my last Terrano was dark green, with the grey trim. And the Shogun was black) The more I look at it though, the more I like it

    Dundee/Leeds/Dundee

Following Terranosaurusdoug's lead, I'm heading down to Leeds to pick up my new truck some time next week. Be taking the train down, and obviously driving back up (M6). So if anyone needs anything dropped-off or picked-up give me a shout? :thumb2

Snaking and Why We Need Stabalisers

Best safety feature in the world would be for all vehicles to be fitted with a large spike in the middle of the steering wheel :lol:lol:lol

    I'm back :-)

It sure is :D :clap My last Terrano had only 38k on the clock when I bought it. I put over 50k on her before I traded her in for a shiny black automatic Shogun. I think I'll be keeping this one for a looooong time though. I've been really lucky with them :bow

    I'm back :-)

Cheers guys. I'm picking the truck up from somewhere in Leeds next week. Ive been unbelievably lucky in that he new truck has only done 39k miles. She's getting MOT'd as we speak and I'l get the train down and drive her back up :thumb2 Here she is

    I'm back :-)

Cheers fellas :thumb2 Banshee? Yes mate, there are plenty of 2.7s out there, but I loved the 3.0 I had. I was seduced by the SHogun after the issues I had with my last Terrano, but i wish I'd just kept it and spent the money. Lesson learned!

    I'm back :-)

After just under a year of Shogun ownership (during which the damn thing had operating 4wd for about a month, chewed up 3 wheel bearings, four tyres and almost all of my tolerance!) I've come back to the joys of the Terrano. My new wagon's not with me yet, as a) I still have to pay for her, and...

How not to clean a washing machine!

Oh, how I sympathise! Just for information, adding washing-up liquid to the detergent drawer will NOT help clean manky overalls :o:lol:lol

    Thank you and farewell

My subscription is due for renewal very shortly, but as I no longer have 'Big T' I don't intend renewing it. So before I'm cast into the pit I'd just like to say a massive 'Thank You' to all those who've helped me over the last couple of years with advice and guidance on my truck. Hopefully, in...

    The things you see . . . . .

Roe. I called this pair in whilst out stalking. The doe came screaming in to the call, swiftly followed by the buck. They were left in peace to get on with it :thumb2

    The things you see . . . . .

I've been pretty lucky this week! First, a wee pipistrelle bat in the house, then a common lizard (not quite so common up here in the Frozen North, lol), and a pair of roe to finish with.
